Bartlett troupe to stage comedy ‘Heaven’

Arts in Bartlett is proud to present its summer play, “Heaven.” Written and directed by Arts in Bartlett Adult Theatre veteran, Russ Devereaux. “Heaven” will be performed 7 p.m. Saturday, June 16, and 3 p.m. Sunday, June 17, at the Nature Center auditorium at James Pate Phillip State Park, 2054 W. Stearns Road, Bartlett.

This hysterical play follows normal guy Archie Bolder, who is instantly ripped from his mundane life on Earth, only to be tossed through the Pearly Gates. As Archie stumbles through Heaven’s admission process, he encounters an assortment of unexpected characters including his very own afterlife concierge Cynthia, Peter the moral auditor, a disgruntled DMV attendant and the King himself. Follow Archie as he pursues eternal peace in the most peaceful of places.

The cast members are: Galen Malick, Katie Batt, Brianne Durfey, Debbie Fowler, Rita Lopienski, Dean Pearson and Scott Surowiecki.
