Millburn school genocide display:

The annual genocide museum put on by seventh graders at Millburn Central School will open for its final day Wednesday from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. Dave Schroeder, social studies teacher, came up with the project for which students research and create displays about a selected genocide from history. These include the Holocaust, as well as genocides in Rwanda, Darfur, China and more. The displays include articles, photographs, poems, recorded interviews and powerpoint representations. The display is open to the public, and the museum may stay open for one to two additional days if there is enough interest, officials said. The school is at 18550 Millburn Road, Wadsworth.
