District 56 Drama Club musical:

Gurnee Elementary District 56’s Drama Club is gearing up to present “Annie Jr.” at 6 p.m. Thursday, April 26 and Friday, April 27. The musical will be at O’Plaine School, 333 N. O’Plaine Road behind Gurnee village hall. The cast is made up of 80 fifth-grade students. “Annie Jr.” will be directed by Stephanie Reuter and Stacey Gritz, both music teachers at District 56. The public is welcome to attend the performances. Tickets are $8 for adults and $5 for children in kindergarten through eighth grade. Tickets also will be available at the door. The students have been rehearsing for the musical since January.
