Children’s Wellness Fair is Feb. 21

Parents are invited to learn about fostering health and wellness in their children at the Children’s Wellness Fair, sponsored by the Hoffman Estates Park District and Alexian Brothers Health Systems on Tuesday, Feb. 21.

The fair is 10 a.m.-1 p.m. at the Triphahn Center gym, 1685 W. Higgins Road in Hoffman Estates. Parents and their children can visit with community representatives who are committed to the health and wellness of children in our community, and engage in games and activities geared toward teaching children about health. “Skates,” the Chicago Wolves mascot, will visit from 11:30 a.m.-12:30 p.m. Admission is free.

“We are excited to be able to expose our community to ways to keep our children healthy and well,” said Tony LaFrenere, deputy director and director of Recreation for the Hoffman Estates Park District.
