D50 dual language meeting

Woodland Elementary District 50 will host its sixth dual language information meeting for parents at 6:30 p.m., Wednesday, Jan. 25 at Woodland Primary School, 17366 W. Gages Lake Road, Gages Lake. The meeting will feature a sample lesson in Spanish with a “bridge” into English, which is a teaching tool used in dual language programs at the end of a unit to ensure the key concepts have been communicated in both languages.
