Book, CD sale at Fremont:
Friends of Fremont Public Library will host a book sale from 10 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. Saturday, Dec. 10, and 1 to 4:30 p.m. Sunday, Dec. 11 at the library, 1170 N. Midlothian Road, Mundelein. Cook books, craft books and many others covering a wide range of subjects including biographies and gardening will be available. CDs, DVDs, videos, books on tape and CD, children’s books and other categories also will be sold. Many items are in new or like new condition. Also, the North Central O Gaugers Model Railroad Club Inc., will host “A Christmas Train Run” from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. Saturday and 1 to 4 p.m. Sunday. Call (847) 918-3247.
