Public invited to meet new Indian Trails Public Library director

The public is invited to attend a Dec. 12 reception to welcome and introduce David Seleb, the new director of Indian Trails Public Library District.

The reception will be held from 3 to 5 p.m. at the library, 355 S. Schoenbeck Road, Wheeling.

Seleb assumed the library director position Nov. 1. He previously was director of the Winnetka-Northfield Public Library District and before that was director at the Blue Island Public Library.

Seleb said he is looking forward to meeting members of the community and hearing their comments regarding the library.

Indian Trails Public Library District serves a population of about 67,000 people living in Wheeling, parts of Buffalo Grove and Prospect Heights, and a few households in Northbrook and Arlington Heights.
