It's more than a year away, but the captains for the 2012 Ryder Cup at Medinah Country Club are coming to Chicago next month to take part in a special "countdown" event at the Chicago Theatre.

Team captains Davis Love III and Jose Maria Olazabal will take part in the evening affair as the PGA Of America hosts "Countdown To The Ryder Cup: An Evening With The Captains" on Sept. 26 at the landmark Chicago Theatre.

Tickets ($55) are limited and on sale today at The Chicago Theatre Box Office, via Ticketmaster online or charge by phone at 1-800-745-3000.

Hosted by NBC broadcaster Jimmy Roberts, the event with feature a conversation with the captains and give attendees a behind-the-scenes look at next year's Ryder Cup.

"The Ryder Cup is one of the most thrilling and beloved sporting events in the world, and we are very excited to have Davis Love III and Jose Maria Olazabal join us for an unforgettable evening at the Chicago Theatre," said Ryder Cup director Michael Belot.

The Ryder Cup will be played Sept. 25-30, 2012, at Medinah.
