Future Pros soccer team scores 3 tournament wins

A talented U11 girls soccer team from Glen Ellyn, Lombard, Naperville and Wheaton, coached and trained by Future Pros, competed in three U-11 competitive soccer tournaments in the Midwest this summer.

The Future Pros Select Team went undefeated and achieved 1st place in each event. The tournaments included the Rockford Watermelon tournament (June 10-12), Peoria River City Tournament (June 17-19), and Oregon, Wisconsin International Tournament (July 8-10).

This group of 18 girls consists of the most talented U11 female athletes Future Pros trains in the Western suburbs.

They compiled a record of 11-0-1 in all three tournaments. They scored 58 goals and had only 7 scored against them in 12 tournament games.

Tournament highlights include:

• Rockford - beat 2010 champs in the semi finals, won finals 2-0 versus the Chicago Magic

• Peoria - went undefeated to the finals and won championship 5-0

• Oregon, WI - beat 2010 champs in finals 4-1

This elite summer tournament team is in its first year of conception for Future Pros – who typically trains and coaches Park District travel teams during the fall thru spring seasons.

Coaches for the team are Future Pros head coach, Joey Ricely and assistants, Orlando Luna and Martin Crochet.
