Barrington girl’s foundation to benefit from rock concert

Two Lake Zurich women have organized a rock concert fundraiser Saturday night for the Hope4Bridget foundation, started by a Barrington area family whose daughter, Bridget Kennnicott, 6, is a victim of Batten disease, a rare degenerative neurological disease which is always fatal. There are four other children in the Chicago area with the same diagnosis and the money will go to research a cure. For the benefit, Jesse Malin and his band, “The St. Marks Social,” are playing at Trace Wrigley Bar, 3714 N. Clark St., Chicago. Tickets, $30 or $75 for VIP seating, are available up to the time of the concert but cannot be purchased at the door. Call (773) 477-3400 or go to is.gd/hope4bridget for tickets. More information is available at hope4bridget.com or by calling Lori Butler, (847) 567-9599, or Kerry Hughes, (847) 204-2336.
