Elgin

• Two vehicles were reported damaged by unknown objects just after midnight Saturday on Randall Road near College Green Drive. One vehicle had its front windshield broken and the other had a dent on the passenger side panel. Shortly after, an unknown man threw a small rock at a police car that was responding to the call on the 600 block of Randall Road, police said. No suspects were apprehended.

• An Elgin resident reported at 5:30 p.m. on Friday that four unauthorized charges of $100 each were made by someone who used his debit card at gas stations in El Campo, Texas, police said.
