Jazz trio to perform at Wheeling library

Straight from successful performances in New York City, the Adam Kromelow Jazz Trio will perform at the Indian Trails Public Library, 355 S. Schoenbeck Road, Wheeling, 7 p.m. Tuesday, July 5.

The trio is known for its ability to switch from rocking out to playing at a beautiful whisper.

Unafraid to push boundaries, this jazz band displays an atypical level of versatility by creating a sound that reflects the culmination of their favorite music and art, as well as their own personal experiences. The trio creates music that is powerful and unpredictable.

This band has performed at some of New York’s most prominent jazz venues such as The Jazz Gallery and Iridium. Also, members have performed at New York’s Blue Note Jazz Club, the Monterey Jazz Festival, the San Jose Jazz Festival, Chicago’s Symphony Center and Jazz Showcase, and the 2008 Grammy Awards.

The Adam Kromelow Trio recently finished working on their upcoming CD, Upgrade, which will be released this summer.

Registration is required. To register or obtain more information, call the library at (847) 459-4100.
