For Glen Ellyn Dist. 41: Nelson, Kenwood, Black

For Glen Ellyn District 41 school board race, we endorse incumbents Erica Nelson and John Kenwood, along with newcomer Sam Black. A significant issue facing the board during the next four years will be the 32 mobile classrooms and what to do with them. There are several options on the table to address the classroom space issue. Incumbents Nelson and Kenwood have a good grasp of the situation and will be able to help the board make the best decision on how the district should proceed. Black would bring an important new voice to the board. Despite not being on the board, Black is very familiar with the master facility plan and would work well as a board member. The remaining candidate, Mark Senak, is also a strong candidate, and we encourage him to stay involved in district.
