Fans compete to see DeWyze at new Viper Alley

Fans of Mount Prospect native and reigning “American Idol” champ Lee DeWyze will get a chance to see him perform at a special March 10 concert at the suburbs' newest music venue, Viper Alley in Lincolnshire.

To see DeWyze, fans must win tickets to the show from either the Viper Alley or Fresh 105.9 FM, a co-sponsor of the show.

Listen to 105.9 weekday mornings at 7:30 a.m. for a chance to win tickets to the show. Or, fill out an online entry form at viper-alley.com/lee. Winners of tickets in the online contest will be notified by March 5.

The concert will serve as the unofficial opening event for Viper Alley, which is located at 275 Parkway Drive, Lincolnshire.

DeWyze was the big winner of the ninth season of “American Idol” last year. His new record, “Live it Up,” came out last fall.
