District 41 PTO donation

Lake Villa Elementary District 41 officials announced in a news release that its PTO has presented the district with a check for $25,000 that will help purchase LCD projectors and interactive whiteboards for classrooms.

The PTO also agreed to donate 40 percent of profits from fundraisers this school year, or an estimated $44,000, according to the release. The district's technology plan includes placement of LCD projectors and interactive whiteboards in classrooms throughout the district.
