Auger's experience earns endorsement

Over the past two years I have been honored to serve as a Kane County Board member, representing the northernmost portion of the county. During this time, the board has been faced with many challenging and difficult decisions, regarding budgets and service cuts in an effort to balance our budgets. We are far from done and much more work lies ahead.

Over the past year I have had the privilege of getting to know Maggie Auger. I believe her background as an attorney, an arbitrator and her dedicated service to the Village of Algonquin and Carpentersville Community Unit District 300 have provided her with the skills to tackle the tough financial issues facing the Kane County Board in the years ahead.

I believe Maggie will bring an exciting and energetic new perspective to the board. Additionally, Maggie Auger is the candidate that is best equipped to deal with transportation and open space issues facing our community.

For these reasons, my family will be supporting Maggie Auger on Nov. 2, and ask that you do as well.
