Actor thrown by horse sues Medieval Times

A suburban actor hired to play a king at Medieval Times in Schaumburg has filed a personal injury lawsuit because he was thrown from a horse.

According to the lawsuit filed Wednesday by Frank Kaszycki of Deer Park, he was hired last year to play King Philippe, a riding and speaking role in the Medieval Times Dinner and Tournament Show.

Kaszycki says he had no experience riding horses and was thrown while he was being trained last January.

Kaszycki's attorneys are suing Medieval Knights, LLC and Medieval Times U.S.A., Inc. for negligence and failing to control the horse. Kaszycki is asking for in excess of $50,000 for his alleged injuries.

No one was available for comment Wednesday night either at the Schaumburg facility or at Medieval Times' national contact number.
