Why is Dist. 26 board dragging this out?

I totally agree with Mr. James Meyer's Neighbor Fencepost submission in today's (March 22) Daily Herald. This situation clearly comes under the classic dogma of "If it ain't broke, don't fix it."

Why is the board dragging this matter out when the residents and parents have vigorously expressed opposition to Grade Level Centers based upon the foregoing dogma?
