Roselle Lions Club to host 'Stronger Together' blood drive June 19
Appointments are still available for donors for the Roselle Lions Club's "Stronger Together" blood drive on Saturday, June 19, from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m.
The event will be held at the Roselle American Legion Hall, 344 E. Maple Ave.
Donors can secure an appointment online at bit.ly/BloodDrive-6-19-21.
All donors will receive a Peace/Love/Donate T-shirt as an appreciation gift.
Versiti Blood Banks reports a dangerously low supply of blood in the Blood Bank due to early summer travel, cancellations and pandemic related problems.
"The need now is great, especially with summer rapidly approaching, for donors to sign up," said Roselle Lion Maryann Grygiel.
Appointments are preferred but walk-ins will be accommodated based on open times.
