American Legion Post 680 to discuss Independence Day events at June 19 meeting
The Hampshire-Burlington American Legion Post 680 will hold its next regular monthly meeting at 7 p.m. Tuesday, June 19, at the Laundromat building, 126 Washington Ave. in Hampshire.
It will be the final meeting before the Independence Day celebration, so all members are encouraged to attend to participate in the planning.
Post 680, along with their comrades from the VFW and the AMVETS, will be joining together to celebrate American independence on Tuesday, July 3 at Burlington Park. A patriotic program will be followed by a fireworks display.
