Berkshire Hathaway HomeServices KoenigRubloff Realty Group's Hinsdale Office to Hold Share Your Soles Shoe Drive During Company-Wide Week of Kindness
On May 19th, the Berkshire Hathaway HomeServices KoenigRubloff Realty Group's Hinsdale office, in conjunction with the KoenigRubloff Cares Foundation, will hold a Share Your Soles Shoe Drive. Donations of men's, women's and children's gym shoes, sandals and boots that are in good condition will be accepted in the parking lot of 20 W. Chicago Avenue in Hinsdale from 9:00 am - 1:00 pm. The mission of Share Your Soles is to provide gently worn or new shoes* to those in the greatest need around the world. To drop off shoes in advance, please call 630-325-7500 to make arrangements. The event is part of the KoenigRubloff Cares Week of Kindness. Over the course of the week, close to 500 Realtors® from 23 of the Berkshire Hathaway HomeServices KoenigRubloff Realty Group offices volunteer time and services to organizations in their respective communities.
Boehman's Moving Company/Bekins will be on site as well and deliver the collection of shoes to the Share Your Soles warehouse.
Terri Doney, Managing Broker of the Hinsdale office, said, "When we learned about Share Your Soles and its mission to help protect children's feet from preventative injuries, we had to get involved and see how we could help." She continued, "The Hinsdale community responded so generously last year and we collected 500 pairs of shoes. This year, we hope to increase our collection substantially!"
