AlphaBet Soup to present 'Alice in Wonderland'

Follow Alice down the rabbit hole and into a whirlwind of adventure this month as AlphaBet Soup Productions presents "Alice in Wonderland."

In the family-friendly show, someone has stolen the Queen of Hearts' prized tarts, and Alice is the prime suspect. With the help of her new friends - the Cheshire Cat, Humpty Dumpty and the Mad Hatter - can Alice prove her innocence? In this musical romp through Wonderland, Alice discovers the importance of friendship.

The show, adapted for the stage by Mark A. Pence, with music and lyrics by Julie Shannon, runs approximately 65 minutes and is performed at 10 a.m. Thursday and Saturday, Nov. 9 and 11, at Tivoli Theatre, 5021 Highland Ave., Downers Grove.

Tickets are $8.50 or $7.50 each for groups of 25 or more. They may be purchased by calling (630) 932-1555 or visiting absproductions.com. They also will be available at the door the day of the show.
