Operation Kidsafe Safety Event in Zion this weekend
Stop by an Operation Kidsafe Safety Event from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. Saturday and Sunday, Oct. 21-22, at 5 Star Firearms, 41666 N. Sheridan Road in Zion.
There will be food trucks, competitions, raffles, prizes and fun for all.
A live broadcast by WIIL Rock 95.1FM from noon to 2 p.m. Saturday.
Operation Kidsafe Free Child Safety Events are happening all across the U.S. and Canada.
Operation Kidsafe is free and private for families. Parents take home the only record of the visit (a bio document) that is ready to hand to law enforcement in an emergency. Safety tips to start a family safety action plan are also included.
