Hawthorn Principals Read to Children at the Library
Hawthorn School District 73 principals will celebrate their love for reading by sharing favorite stories with children during Cook Memorial Public Library reading events. The events will take place at the Aspen Drive Library, 701 Aspen Drive in Vernon Hills. Refreshments will be served at 6:30 p.m. The readings will begin at 6:45 p.m. Here is the schedule:
Tuesday, Sept. 26: Dr. Victoria Kieffer, Hawthorn Townline Elementary
Wednesday, Sept. 27: Dr. James Tohme, Hawthorn School of Dual Language
Tuesday, Oct. 3: Kathryn Waggoner, Hawthorn Elementary North
Monday, Oct. 16: Dr. Jill Martin, Hawthorn Elementary South
Wednesday, Nov. 8: Bill Fredricksen, Hawthorn Aspen Elementary
The event is free. The public is welcome to attend.
