14th Annual Feet Fest 3K Family Fun Run/Walk This Sunday

Palatine Park District hosts the 14th annual Feet Fest 3K Family Fun Run/Walk on Sunday, Aug. 27, 2017 at Towne Square, 150 W. Palatine Road, in Palatine. The race event will begin at 8:30 a.m. with day of registration available beginning at 7:30 a.m. for $18 each. The presenting sponsor for the 2017 Feet Fest is Palatine Bank & Trust. All participants will receive a race goody bag and a T-shirt. The race will have a timed finish with results available to view online.

Pre-race stretching will be guided by PT Solutions Therapy of Palatine beginning at 8:15 a.m., near the starting line. They will also be providing pre- and post-race injury screenings. After the race, a pancake breakfast will be offered by the Sons of the American Legion Post #690, located at the finish line - 122 W. Palatine Road, from 9 a.m. until noon. In addition to pancakes, the Legion will be serving eggs, french toast, ham, sausage, fruit, coffee, orange juice and milk. Adults will be admitted for $9 each, kids, ages 4-10, for $5 each and children 3 or younger are free.

The 2017 Feet Fest 3K Family Fun Run/Walk is made possible by a variety of community partners. This year's post-race refreshment sponsors are Jewel-Osco of Palatine on Plum Grove Road and KIND Snacks. Additional Gold Level Sponsors include AMITA Health, Andigo, Consumers Credit Union, Dental Vue, MeritCorp Group LLC, Orthodontic Experts, and Palatine Vision Center.
