Full Day Kindergarten DOES make a difference!

Full day kindergarten is once again benefiting the students at Saint Alphonsus Liguori School in Prospect Heights. Showing that children are far more prepared for the start of 1st grade, Saint Alphonsus is very proud that they are one of the few grammar schools that offer a full day program as well as extended day care before and after school.

The kindergarten students at Saint Alphonsus Liguori School has the advantage of their grade using two classrooms; one for creative experiences and another one for class room studies. "We are so proud of the education and experiences that we are seeing our kindergarteners enjoying at the beginning of their school career", said Principal Linda Chorazy. "A full day curriculum also allows our kindergarten students to have Spanish, Art, Music and Gym Classes each week" said Chorazy.

Saint Alphonsus Liguori is still accepting enrollment in all grades beginning with their Early Childhood Center for ages 3 & 4, both 1/2 day and full day; full day kindergarten and grades 1st thru 8th. Open Houses are scheduled Thursday, August 24 from 8a-10a & 5p-7; August 29, Sept. 6 & 13 from 8a-10a. Evening appointments are available upon request.
