Brew Fest returns to Wheaton's Memorial Park

More than 80 brews, live entertainment and plenty of fun are available Saturday when Wheaton Park District sponsors its seventh annual Wheaton Brew Fest in downtown's Memorial Park, 208 W. Union.

General admission hours run from 1 to 4:30 p.m., with VIP access beginning at noon. VIP ticketholders receive an event raglan shirt and access to a VIP area with five limited-edition craft beers, food courtesy of Caliendo's, and restrooms. A commemorative pint glass and a 32-taste pass is included with both ticket types.

Tickets will be available at the gate.

Organizers say the fest is more than an afternoon of fun, it also benefits the DuPage County Historical Museum Foundation and Court Appointed Special Advocates of DuPage, or CASA.

"Our motto at CASA is 'Powerless children need powerful friends,' and Wheaton Brew Fest is truly a powerful friend," said CASA Executive Director Lisa Drake.

"The proceeds from this event are crucial to the work we do for the abused children living right here in DuPage County."
