Addison Park District adopts new registration system

Starting Tuesday, Aug. 1, the Addison Park District will be using a new registration system that allows patrons to sign up for programs online any time from a computer or mobile device and pay for programs with a credit or debit card.

To use the new system, all patrons must set up a new household account online. New accounts will be considered nonresident and receive nonresident pricing until proof of residency can be validated in person at any park district facility. Once a new household account is set up and residency is verified, the process to register for programs is intuitive, and users will have the option to print or save a receipt.

To set up a new household account, users should take the following steps:

• Go to addisonparks.org and click on the link at the top of the page for Registration;

• Click "Create an Account;"

• Set up your Household Account;

• Enter all members of your household;

• Save all of the information; and

• On your next visit, click "Sign In."

Some classes and memberships will not be available for online registration including preschool, day camps, winter camp, before- and after-school care, pickleball open gym, basketball open gym and tot open gym. Registration will be accepted in person, by mail or over the phone. To protect registrants' privacy, fax orders no longer will be accepted.

For information, call (630) 233-7275 from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. weekdays to speak with a registration specialist.

Additionally, as of Aug. 1, all park district memberships will be managed with a single card. Members no longer will need to carry multiple golf cards, membership cards or punch passes. All Club Fitness members, golfers of Links and Tees and other punch pass users will have a single membership card to use at any facility. This new Membership Pass Card will be linked to one household account and will be redeemable at all locations.

Addison Park District's Summer Fun Guide is available in print and online with a full curriculum of leisure activities for all ages and lifestyles at addisonparks.org.
