Hawthorn District 73 Seeks Community Input through Survey and Informal Meetings

Hawthorn School District 73 is seeking public feedback on its facilities planning efforts as well as on the District as a whole. It is asking community residents to take a short survey. The survey should take no longer than 10 minutes to complete. To take the survey, visit:

The District has also scheduled four informal "Bagels with the Board" meetings for the public to discuss their perceptions with Board of Education members. The schedule is as follows:

Thursday, August 10, 9:30-10:30 a.m. at Aspen Drive Library, 701 Aspen Drive, Vernon Hills

Tuesday, August 15,10:30-11:30 a..m. at Village of Vernon Hills, 290 Evergreen Drive, Vernon Hills

Tuesday, August 15, 6:30-7:30 p.m. at Sullivan Center, 635 N. Aspen Drive, Vernon Hills

Wednesday, August 16, 10:30-11:30 a.m. at Victory Centre, 97 W. Phillip Road, Vernon Hills

One of the oldest districts in the state, Hawthorn School District 73 is a preschool through eighth grade district serving approximately 4,200 students in seven schools.
