It's Adventure Day June 10 in Elmhurst's Eldridge Park

Visitors can choose their own adventure - such as fishing, a bug hunt or checking out the Elmhurst Police Department's mobile command unit - during Eldridge Adventure Day Saturday, June 10, at Eldridge Park at Spring and Butterfield roads in Elmhurst.

Sponsored by Elmhurst Park District, the free Eldridge Adventure Day will run from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. and feature a petting zoo and the chance to meet some exotic animals as well as carnival games, face painting and several food trucks.

Kids 7 and older can participate in a Cops 'n' Bobbers Fishing Derby, with prizes awarded in several age groups. Each participant must bring their own bait, tackle and pole.

Parking will be available at the Community Bank of Elmhurst lot, 330 W. Butterfield Road.
