Chorus of DuPage to honor Armed Forces

Chorus of DuPage, a men's barbershop chorus, will perform its Spring Show with a guest quartet and a celebration of Armed Forces Day.

The Spring Show begins at 5:30 p.m. Saturday, May 20, at Goodwin Hall on the campus of Benedictine University, 5700 College Road, Lisle.

The concert includes performances by the 40-member Chorus of DuPage and members' quartets. The show also features Boardwalk, a guest quartet from Atlanta, Georgia.

During the evening, the chorus will celebrate Armed Forces Day by recognizing veterans and current military members with a musical tribute, including a color guard unit for the national anthem and a rifle exhibition team performance.

General admission seats are $20. Veterans and active military may purchase tickets for $5. Tickets may be purchased online at chorusofdupage.com/springshow. For information, call (630) 737-9199.

The Chorus of DuPage is a member of the Barbershop Harmony Society, an international men's singing organization with more than 20,000 members and nearly 800 chapters in the United States and Canada.

The Chorus of DuPage meets weekly in Naperville and has performed in and around the DuPage area for more than 55 years.
