Glenbard East to present Moliere's 'The Miser'

The Glenbard East Theatre program will perform "The Miser," a timeless and classic comedy by French playwright Moliere, as its spring production.

Performances begin at 7:30 p.m. Wednesday to Saturday, May 3-6, in Rider Hall at Glenbard East High School, 1014 S. Main St., Lombard.

The show asks whether an aggravatingly cheap father can force his children to marry simply for the opportunity to achieve great wealth, or if the spirit of true love overcomes the lust for money. The play gives hilarious answers to these questions.

Cast members include Nicole Emory, Samantha Hoey, Sierra Innis, Veronica Koralewski, Renata Leighton, Grace Melton, Lilly Zuniga, Nico Colangelo, Dylan Delawder, Connor Kamradt, Demetri Sepsis, Chris Turner, Graham Wendorf and Will Wightkin.

Tickets, $8, are available at the door or in advance by calling (630) 424-6640.
