Comments:

The Elk Grove Park District has placed a banner over its wishing fountain in the Pavilion. The banner reads "A Wish for Haiti-Fountain Coins will be donated to redcross.org." The banner will hang over the fountain until mid summer.

For the 15 years that the Pavilion has been open, children and adults have made wishes by throwing coins into the lobby fountain. Pavilion patrons and park district staff now have an accessible point within the community to toss spare change and have a chance to make a difference. The banner was donated by Divine Signs and Graphics. The Pavilion is located at 1000 Wellington Ave., in Elk Grove Village.
