Naperville picks 2010 Reads author
Naperville book lovers are being asked to check out the works of award-winning author Neil Gaiman as part of the 2010 Naperville Reads campaign.
Now in its ninth year, the program aims to encourage residents to read books by the same author to bring the community closer together. The program is sponsored by educators, librarians and independent booksellers in the city.
Gaiman has penned many best-selling books, including "Stardust," "Good Omens," "Anansi Boys," "Coraline" and "Odd and the Frost Giants."
He's scheduled to visit Naperville on Feb. 23 through 25. A variety of citywide programs also are scheduled.
Naperville has been sponsoring Reads programs since 2002.
