Two men, one from Lisle and one from Bolingbrook, were arrested and charged with residential burglary stemming from an Oct. 15 incident on the 2200 block of Regency Woods Drive in Lisle.

Police said the intruders entered the home through a basement window and stole two televisions, a handgun, an Apple iPhone and a 2009 Mercedes-Benz from the garage.

The car was found several blocks from the residence shortly after the burglary was discovered, Lisle Sgt. Randall Johnson said Thursday. Police also have recovered the iPhone.

Charged Wednesday with burglary were Linh Cuu Nguyen, 21, of 819 Bethel Ave., Bolingbrook, and Jeffrey David Leardi, 23, of 4707 Dumoulin Ave., Lisle.

Johnson said the men were apprehended as part of a similar investigation in Lincolnwood and were charged with the Lisle crime after authorities compared notes.
