The construction in Buffalo Grove is a total disaster. I drive daily from Arlington Heights to Grayslake. In the a.m. and the p.m. I never see any workers, just one big traffic jam.
IDOT also displays a large flashing sign stating, "Expect Heavy Delays." That is incorrect ... it should say "Expect Long Delays." People have long days and long hours NOT heavy days, heavy hours or heavy delays. That does not make IDOT look too smart.
In addition, between Routes 137 and 120 there is a massive construction site on Route 45 and you can see the amount of work put in every day. I see workers there in the a.m. and the p.m. Where are the missing workers in Buffalo Grove?
And now what is up with the Buffalo Grove covert action of having the police dress up in construction clothes trying to catch speeders? We are lucky if we can go 5 miles an hour through Buffalo Grove.
Typical government bureaucracy.
