New England Revolution at Chicago Fire, 7:30 p.m. Saturday at Toyota Park

TV: Fox Soccer Channel.

Scouting the Revolution: The Revolution will want to play tight and physical on defense and look to exploit the Fire's urgency to score with an occasional counterattack of its own. Goalkeeper Matt Reis can expect to be busy, and he's usually up to the task. New England would love to pull an upset like Real Salt Lake did Thursday night, ousting defending champion Columbus.

What's at stake: If the Fire loses or ties this game, it goes home for the winter. If it's winning by 1 goal after 90 minutes, the teams go to a 30-minute extra period, followed by penalty kicks if necessary. If the Fire wins by 2 or more, it hosts Real Salt Lake next weekend at Toyota Park in the Eastern Conference final.

Next game: TBA
