• A Samsung cell phone and an 18-inch Stihl chain saw with a carrying case were among items reported stolen Friday from two vehicles on the 6N300 block of Essex Avenue in unincorporated St. Charles.
• A "high-value" watch and 15 men's dress shirts valued at $500 were among items reported stolen Friday from a vehicle on the 6N700 block of Illinois Street in unincorporated St. Charles, according to police.
Geneva
• An antique silver metal miniature bathtub, used to display flower picks, was stolen at 1:40 p.m. Friday from The Strawflower Shop, 210 W. State St.
• Peggy L. Amenta, 55, of the 1900 block of Fargo Boulevard, was charged with violation of an alcohol-monitoring ignition interlock device, and operating an uninsured motor vehicle, at 10:01 p.m. Oct. 28 in the 2200 block of Fargo Boulevard, according to police. She was also given a ticket for driving without headlights when they are required.
• Someone took $50 out of a wallet in an unlocked locker at the Sunset Community Center, while the owner used a sauna and took a shower, between 3:45 and 4:15 p.m. Oct. 27.
• An Illinois vehicle registration sticker, plus several expired stickers beneath it, was removed from a vehicle parked in a lot at Geneva High School, 416 McKinley Ave., it was reported at 9:30 p.m. Oct. 28, police said.
Batavia
• Eggs were thrown at three vehicles in the 300 block of North Prairie Street overnight, it was reported at 8:22 a.m. Sunday, police said.
• Someone broke a sliding-glass door and window at a home in the 400 block of Laurel Drive, it was reported at 10:12 a.m. Friday.
• Someone scratched two vehicles in a parking lot in the 300 block of North Randall Road, it was reported at 4:43 p.m. Friday.
• Someone took $129 out of a wallet in an unlocked vehicle in the 800 block of Gosselin Circle, it was reported at 11:20 a.m. Thursday.
• Nicole K. Wiesner, 17, of the 800 block of Britta Lane, was charged with retail theft Thursday, according to a police report. She is accused of taking four pieces of clothing from Kohl's, 251 N. Randall Road.
