Seminar on credit management

CHOICES will offer an educational seminar, "Reshaping Your Plastic," at 7 p.m. Thursday, Nov. 5 at the United Way of Elgin offices, 2022 Larkin Ave., Elgin.
It is a nonprofit program of Consumer Credit Counseling Service of Elgin. It is designed to help Elgin-area adults who survived the recent economic storm and want to rebuild their personal finances by providing a safe place to construct a strong financial foundation; and equipping people with a Financial Rebuilding Toolkit of concepts, principles, and practical tips.
It will show how to access your credit report and describe what is in a credit score. For details, call (847) 695-3680.
