LINCOLN -- A judge has reduced the bond being sought from a woman suspected of giving a false alibi in the case of the Beason family homicide.
Jennifer Earnest of Armington is charged with obstruction of justice in connection with the murder of Raymond and Ruth Gee and three of their children. She is accused of providing a false alibi for Christopher J. Harris, who along with his brother Jason Harris, is accused of killing of the family.
Earnest's bond was reduced to $10,000 Thursday, requiring her to post $1,000 to be released from jail. Her bond previously was set at $50,000.
Prosecutors have offered no explanation for the murder of the Gee family.
Earnest's mother, Sara Duncan of Sarasota, Fla., also is charged with providing a false alibi for Chris Harris. She posted bond and returned to Florida
