Get "In the Mood" to dance the night away at the USO Party from 7 to 10 p.m. Saturday, Nov. 7, at the American Legion Hall, 22 S. Second St., Geneva. The USO Party will mark the closing of the Geneva History Center's "Faces of War" exhibit Nov. 13.
A disc jockey will take you back to the Big Band music of the 1940s, refreshments will be served and a cash bar will be available.
Tickets are $15 for Geneva History Center members and $20 for nonmembers. Partygoers are encouraged to wear 1940s garb and military personnel will save $5 if they wear their military uniform.
The United Service Organization has been many things to many people throughout the years - a lively place to dance and meet people, a place to see movies, find religious counsel and a quiet place to talk or write letters.
Space is limited; call the Geneva History Center for reservations at (630) 232-4951.
