The Sox's Dylan Covey (3-4) vs. Miles Mikolas (9-3) Tuesday; Carlos Rodon (1-3) vs. Luke Weaver (5-7) Wednesday. Both games 7:10 p.m.

At a glance:

The White Sox are back home after going 2-8 on a road trip to Texas, Cincinnati and Houston. The Sox have lost five in a row and have the third-worst record (30-60) in the majors. Avisail Garcia is having more trouble with his right hamstring. If he has to go back on the disabled list, Ryan LaMarre might take his place in right field. Claimed off waivers from Minnesota on Monday, LaMarre batted .263 with 8 RBI in 43 games with the Twins this season. Covey is 0-3 with a 13.20 ERA in his last 4 starts. Mikolas has been a big surprise for St. Louis this season. After pitching in Japan the last three years, the right-hander leads the Cardinals in wins and ERA (2.63). In early May, the Cardinals swept a two-game series vs. the White Sox at St. Louis.
