Rockford IceHogs to face Manitoba in next round of AHL playoffs

The Manitoba Moose defeated Grand Rapids 5-1 on Monday in Game 5 of their best-of-five series, meaning the Rockford IceHogs will take on Manitoba in the second round of the Calder Cup playoffs.

Their best-of-seven series begins Friday in Manitoba. Games 3-5 are in Rockford on May 9, 11 and 12.

Rockford went 2-1-1 vs. Manitoba this season, with those victories coming in the last two games on March 26 and 28.
