Chicago Bears hire Gilbride as tight ends coach

Chicago Bears head coach Matt Nagy continues to fill out his staff, hiring NFL coaching veteran Kevin Gilbride as tight ends coach.

Gilbride was available after spending the past eight seasons with the New York Giants, and he was their tight ends coach the past four years.

Since his hiring was announced on Monday, Nagy has moved quickly to fill out his staff. The hires to date:

Defensive coordinator: Vic Fangio

Offensive coordinator: Mike Helfrich

Special Teams coordinator: Chris Tabor

Offensive line coach: Harry Hiestand

Running backs coach: Charles London

Wide receivers coach: Mike Furrey

Tight ends coach: Kevin Gilbride
