Blackhawks put Corey Crawford on injured reserve
The Chicago Blackhawks placed goaltender Corey Crawford on injured reserve Wednesday and called up Jeff Glass from Rockford.
The Hawks also called up forward David Kampf.
Crawford missed three games in early December with a lower-body injury. It is not known if this is a flare up of that injury or something new.
The Hawks will update Crawford's condition after practicing today in Vancouver at 4:30 p.m.
Crawford will miss at least the next three games, with the Hawks playing at Vancouver on Thursday, at Edmonton on Friday and at Calgary on Sunday.
Anton Forsberg (1-4-3, .909 save pct., .312 GAA) might start all three games.
Kampf, 22, has 7 goals and 10 assists in 30 games with the IceHogs this season. He has 3 goals and 4 assists in the last seven games.
