Susan Stark is the Assistant News Editor/Food and Neighbor. As Food editor she oversees the content and production of the Food section. She is responsible for editing content and designing layouts for the Cook County Neighbor sections. As a newsroom multiplatform editor she prepares print copy for posting on dailyherald.com and social media outlets.

Stark was a part of the design team on the Daily Herald's 1999 Crossing Centuries special section. The section won a first place Lisagor Award for news design. She has a bachelor's degree in English and Communications from Western Michigan University.
