Vehicle catches fire in Lindenhurst home's garage

A fire that started in a vehicle in a garage Thursday spread to a home on the 500 block of North Beck Road in Lindenhurst.

No one was injured, and the building sustained minor damage, the Lake Villa Fire Department said.

The blaze was brought under control about 5:45 p.m., 10 to 15 minutes after firefighters arrived, officials said.
