Woman sues Schaumburg bar, says she was sexually harrassed while working there
A woman is suing a restaurant in suburban Schaumburg claiming she was sexually assaulted by cooks and fired from her job there after she made a complaint to management, the Chicago Sun-Times is reporting.
The lawsuit alleges that cooks at the Village Tavern and Grill, 335 W. Wise Rd, groped the woman "on a daily basis" while she worked as a server between June 2015 and January 2019.
The lawsuit was filed Feb. 7 in the Circuity Court of Cook County.
A spokesperson for the restaurant could not immediately be reached for comment.
