Fox Lake car dealership to host BBQ to benefit USO
A Fox Lake car dealership is hosting a BBQ event Saturday to raise money for the USO of Illinois.
The event, called BBQ for the Troops, will be at Ray Chevrolet, 23 N. Route 12. The event will feature great food, music and a raffle from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. At noon, there will be a special color guard presentation by the Fox Lake American Legion.
All of the proceeds will go to the USO of Illinois, an organization that supports local service members and families by offering programs to benefit them all across the United States. The charity event is just one of many that will be held by members of the Chicago Automobile Trade Association.
