Sheriff's office says Kaneville Twp. burglar was caught on camera
A Hinckley man was charged with burglary and theft after he was caught on a security camera inside a home on Perry Road in unincorporated Kaneville Township, according to a news release Monday from the Kane County sheriff's office.
The homeowner was alerted by his security system that someone had entered his home around 12:15 p.m. Thursday, according to the release.
Nicholas Bower, of the 100 block of Oak Street, later was located in DeKalb and arrested, authorities said.
Kane County sheriff's deputies found a safe and other items taken from the home, authorities said.
